The initial concept was to follow closely the World Toughest Row boat livery but with tweaks and changes to suit a bike.
As per our usual practice the Aprilia was modelled in 3D to ensure an accurate design and to aid the sign-off process of the completed design. Multiple versions were completed and presented to the the client for approval/changes until the final design was signed-off.

With our 3D livery production and the exporting of our design, a system we have developed and mastered over the past 20+ years, it enabled us to send the completed designs and files to the selected vinyl company to produce accurate designs.
Part of the finalising process along with a selection of photo realistic 3d visuals is the creation of a series of orthographic views of the bike and livery. This is done to aid the vinyl production/application process with colour and layout notes plus the sizes of all the individually applied sponsor logos.

Note: I am saddened to note, that between the design of the bike and the livery application, the owners father and soon to be rider of the bike tragically passed away.  He saw our visuals but never the completed bike.
