Hedley Studios, creators of luxury handcrafted electric reinterpretations of iconic vintage cars, approached Chris Warner Design to design and provide high quality 3D visualisations of a matching Bugatti Baby II to the then unreleased Bugatti Brouillard, the first car from the new Programme Solitaire, that offers truly bespoke, one-of-one hypercars, brought to life through a deeply personal and meticulously curated collaboration between the brand and its future owner.
Beginning with importing the full bodywork data of the car in to our visualisation and virtual studio system, the Bugatti was initially specced with a base-line factory appearance for internal approval. The design and development process of applying the briefed in custom textures, materials, colours and personalisation to the vehicle began and with that, the high-quality visual exports that we have been perfecting over the past 20+ years of automotive and motorsport experience.
Working to a strict non-disclosure agreement, the design brief was provided by the Bugatti Programme Solitaire team in the form of a set of visuals of the exterior and interior of the secret Bugatti Brouillard hypercar.
The Brouillard is named after Ettore Bugatti’s favourite horse, and it epitomises the strategy of Solitaire to deliver the highest level of customisation. The most obvious connections to this were to be the horse motifs embroidered into the seats alongside unique tartan fabrics sourced from Paris, which unfortunately were not on the Monterey Car Week car due to production constraints.
The exterior was presented in satin green with lower sections in a complimentary darker green along with unique black faced wheels and 'EB' motifs on the centre caps. The dashboard was finished in the standard machine finish with the Bugatti Brouillard identification plate underlining the car’s singular status.

In a symbolic coming together of automotive art and craftwork, the Hedley Studios’ perfectly scaled tribute to the Type 35, the Baby Bugatti II, stood proud on a Fahrengold car rostrum – resplendent with it's bespoke design cues matching the Brouillard, in an exquisite celebration of Bugatti creations representing the marque’s legendary origins, and its thrilling future.
The strictly limited edition Bugatti Baby II is a 75% scale, fully electric reincarnation of the iconic Bugatti Type 35, developed using a full 3D scan of an original 1924 French Grand Prix car. As an official Bugatti product, only components of the highest quality are used, with each car being impeccably hand-built in the UK by Hedley Studios. The Bugatti Baby II is adorned with a genuine, solid silver Bugatti Macaron, a symbol of exclusivity, luxury and craftsmanship that has stood for over 110 years. A true continuation of a prestigious history
