Hedley Studios, creators of luxury handcrafted electric reinterpretations of iconic vintage cars, approached Chris Warner Design to provide accurate, high quality 3D visualisations of their proposed collaboration using their Bentley Blower Jnr as the base car.
The complete bodywork data was imported and tweaked to provide a model that could be used in our visualisation and virtual studio technology. Once the Bentley was set-up in this environment, the standard production materials and finishes were created and applied for a base-line and renders delivered for internal approval. The design and development process of applying the briefed in custom textures, materials, colours and personalisation to the vehicle began and with that, the high-quality visual exports that we have been perfecting over the past 20+ years of automotive and motorsport experience.
The design brief provided included the potential use of Russian reindeer leather recovered from the Metta Catharina shipwreck of 1786 and lost for almost 200 years and a suite of other details chosen to reflect the shoemaker’s dedication to craftsmanship. Among them were custom treadplates and hand-stitched leather accents, crafted from Tuscany’s finest full-grain hides.

The dashboard was to be finished in Koa, a rare Hawaiian hardwood bringing a warm, organic counterpoint to the car’s engineering. A bespoke nameplate reading “GC 1 of 1” underlines the car’s singular status, while the exterior is presented in Claret paintwork with a Mulberry Everflex finish, chosen to harmonise with the rich interior materials.
The team at George Cleverley also selected the number 86 on the front grille for this commission, which is a subtle nod to the year 1786 when the reindeer hides were first lost to the sea.
Like every Bentley Blower Jnr, this collaboration with George Cleverley blends heritage design with modern engineering. At its heart sits a 15 kW electric motor, powered by a 10.8 kWh battery which provides a range of approximately 65 miles (105 km). Crucially, the model is fully road legal in the UK, EU and in the USA, ensuring that its owners can enjoy it not just as a collector’s piece but as a driveable celebration of Bentley’s history.
