The new generation of electric vehicles is getting larger and more SUV based and thus the global motorsport championships will follow suit in order to attract manufacturer support and be relevant to the buying public.
Designed in 3D, this Tesla Model Y for the proposed 2022 Nitro Rallycross Championship featured fully widened bodywork and re-profiled front and rear bumpers and a new rear wing plus additional cooling vents and hot air exits for the uprated 1000hp electric powertrain. All the new bodywork will sit on top of the proposed series standard spaceframe chassis.
