Creating a 3D livery design for a rare race car such as this Aquila CR1 presents a challenge as acquiring sufficient data can be difficult, so we fully designed an exact 3D replica of the CR1 from scratch for this project.
Our Danish client who will be racing with the Aquila in the Danish Special Saloon Car Championship requested a livery in the style of the original factory cars but with his own branding and sponsors.
The design was developed and visualised in our 3D virtual studio as is our usual working practise to ensure a perfect fit and the production of accurate vinyl files.
Finally the production files were created ready to send to a vinyl company for application along with a selection of 3D visuals for guidance and a PDF production guide.
In addition to the Aquila, we created a complementary livery for the teams Mercedes Sprinter van.
